MoPhap Changes Name to Ringleader and Pulls in $6M Led by W2 Group

February 5th, 2008 · No Comments

Ringleader Digital (New York, NY) - formerly known as MoPhap just pulled in $6M from the W2 Group.  The Series A round will help the “next-generation” mobile advertising network to expand its current userbase and grow sales.  They synergy in W2’s investment should help Ringleader compete in a very crowded space by leveraging their network with such entities as Racepoint Group, Digital Influence Group and Parnters+Simons.

While Ringleader uses third parties to serve its ads, it claims its platform is “device-agnostic” so they can seamlessly deliver ads on any available mobile network and distribute ads that work best with an end-user’s device.
